Research Mentoring
Our research mentoring is our premier service led personally by the founder and is not a standardized or outsourced service. Unlike traditional advising companies, all mentorship is conducted one-on-one by a National Institutes of Health–trained soon to be physician–scientist with more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, the majority as first author on independently conceived projects. His work has appeared in top-tier journals including JAMA Surgery, Academic Medicine, JAMA Ophthalmology, Journal of Surgical Education, and Health Affairs, with a specific focus on medical education and the factors that meaningfully increase application competitiveness. Through this individualized approach, he has helped numerous premedical and medical students design, publish, and present research in leading journals and national conferences, contributing directly to stronger academic profiles and successful matches into highly competitive specialties. Each project is guided end-to-end, from study conception and authorship strategy to journal targeting and revision, providing a level of depth and continuity that is rarely available outside of direct faculty mentorship.
Publishing meaningful research is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen an academic application, but navigating study design, authorship strategy, and the publication process can be extremely difficult without direct mentorship. These services are focused on teaching applicants how to engage in research with mentoring that guarantees publication as a result of the service. Across both pathways, the focus is not simply on publication, but on building a credible, defensible academic record that reflects genuine contribution, authorship integrity, and strategic alignment with the applicant’s long-term goals.
Publishing Papers
This is a structured research mentorship pathway that provides access to active, publication-bound projects under direct founder supervision. Participants enroll to receive guided placement within established research efforts and are expected to contribute meaningfully to study execution, data analysis, and manuscript preparation in accordance with standard authorship criteria. Authorship is earned through documented scholarly contribution, with the mentorship structure designed to reliably support timely publication while maintaining academic integrity. This pathway is ideal for applicants seeking to intentionally invest in their research productivity, gain experience working within high-functioning academic teams, and strengthen their application through legitimate, collaborative scholarship.

Co-Author Publication Program
This service is designed for applicants seeking true authorship ownership through the development of an original, first-author research project. Mentees work one-on-one with the founder to identify a feasible research question, design a publishable study, execute the analysis, and produce a submission-ready manuscript. Emphasis is placed on methodological rigor, transparent study design, and clear authorship leadership, resulting in a first-author product suitable for peer-reviewed journals and highly competitive medical school or residency applications.

First-Author Project Development
An abstract is a concise summary of a research project submitted to academic conferences for peer review. When accepted, abstracts represent a formal milestone in the scientific process and are frequently published in conference proceedings or affiliated journals. Accepted abstracts are listable research items on ERAS and medical school applications and signal an applicant’s ability to conduct, communicate, and disseminate scholarly work. For many applicants, abstract acceptance is the first step toward national presentation, networking, and downstream manuscript publication.
Abstract Writing
Abstract Editing & Optimization
Designed for applicants who already have a completed or near-complete abstract, this service focuses on strategic editing to maximize acceptance. Each abstract is refined for clarity, structure, scientific rigor, and alignment with conference-specific review criteria. Emphasis is placed on framing results effectively, highlighting novelty, and communicating significance within strict word limits.
Best for: Applicants with existing data seeking to improve acceptance odds.
Co-Author Abstract Program
This pathway offers guided, participation in active research projects that are being prepared for conference submission. Participants contribute meaningfully to study execution, analysis, and abstract development in accordance with authorship standards, resulting in earned authorship on submitted and accepted abstracts. This option is well-suited for applicants looking to build abstract-level research productivity while learning how conference submissions are developed and reviewed.
Best for: Applicants seeking additional listable research items through legitimate collaborative scholarship.
First-Author Abstract Program (Presentation Track)
This premier service provides one-on-one mentorship to develop an original abstract as first author, from project framing to conference submission. First authorship confers eligibility to present the work at the conference if accepted, making this pathway ideal for applicants seeking visible academic leadership. The process emphasizes intellectual ownership, scientific communication, and strategic conference selection.
Best for: Applicants aiming to present at regional or national meetings to demonstrate scholarly leadership.
Conference presentations, whether poster or podium, are the foundation of how scientific knowledge is disseminated and discussed within medicine. Presenting research develops the ability to speak with authority about one’s work, defend methodology and conclusions, and engage directly with leaders in a specialty. These skills translate directly to medical school and residency interviews, where applicants are frequently questioned in detail about their research and expected to explain their work clearly and confidently. For applicants, national and regional presentations also provide invaluable networking opportunities that often play a meaningful role in residency and fellowship matching.
Conference Presentations
Poster & Podium Editing (Accepted Projects)
This service is designed for applicants with already accepted abstracts for which our company was not involved in earlier stages. Posters or podium slide decks are refined for scientific clarity, visual design, and narrative flow, with attention to conference-specific guidelines and judging criteria. The goal is to ensure that accepted work is presented clearly, professionally, and competitively.
Best for: Applicants seeking to elevate an existing presentation.
Poster Design from Accepted Abstract
For clients whose abstracts are accepted as posters through our abstract services, this add-on provides full poster development from the accepted abstract. Emphasis is placed on visual hierarchy, clarity of results, and effective storytelling to ensure the work is accessible to reviewers, judges, and conference attendees.
Best for: Accepted poster presentations requiring professional design and structure.
Podium (Oral) Presentation Development
For abstracts accepted as oral presentations, this service focuses on building a high-impact slide deck that clearly communicates study rationale, methods, and results within strict time constraints. Attention is given to pacing, slide economy, and verbal narrative to support confident and effective delivery.
Best for: Oral presentations at regional or national meetings.
Mock Poster & Oral Presentation Coaching
This advanced service offers one-on-one mock presentations with the founder, including simulated poster walk-throughs or podium talks followed by targeted questioning that typically follow actual presentations. Clients receive detailed feedback on content delivery, scientific explanation, and responses to anticipated questions. This service is especially valuable for high-stakes national meetings, podium competitions, or judged poster sessions.
Best for: Applicants presenting at competitive or career-defining conferences.
